Looking good every day might not feel possible for everyone, especially those who are always busy.
Many of us hardly give any effort to looking good and feeling good. We think there’s nobody to notice us.
We think why care?
But creating a little time from your busy schedule every day can do wonders for your looks and personality.
It is always a nice feeling when somebody compliments you on your look. It gives us confidence and happiness.
But to look good is not only about how beautiful you are or how beautiful you dress up but also about your good thoughts and positive attitude towards everything around that adds beauty to your look.
So here in this post, I am sharing how to look good every day from my own experiences.
1. Self-care
Start your day by taking care of yourself. After washing your face in the morning apply moisturizer on your face with utmost love and care.
I apply my moisturizer looking at the mirror, smiling at myself slowly and smoothly with total mindfulness.
Feel good about yourself and apply with total presence. Do not hurry be gentle to your skin and yourself.
The energy and the vibration will remain with you wherever you go during the day and the feeling you created will be felt by others too.
2. Do your hair
Comb your hair and keep it clean, whether you remain at home or go out. We mostly forget about it when had to remain at home.
Trimming hair from time to time or changing hairstyle can give a fresh and new look.
During covid, I learned that taking care of myself is not about others but about myself.
When I used to follow my skincare, and hair care and dress up while staying at home, I felt a sense of satisfaction and happiness.
3. Smile
You will look good when you have a smile on your face.
To give a nice smile you need to have bright white teeth. Take care of your teeth by following proper care and maintaining oral hygiene.
4. Don’t neglect the little things
People notice everything about you.
Sometimes people only notice the things which you forget to take care of or neglect, like your nails, your hairstyle, how your feet look, how you smell etc.
Remove the half paint, and nail polish, it looks untidy and comes in noticeably faster.
Keep your nails clean, trimmed and polished.
Always keep your hair tidy.
Smell nice and take care of your feet if it is cracked or if your skin is dry.
It’s not only about dressing nice and okay but also about these little things.
When you take care of these little things about your body, you will feel good too.
6. Makeup
Keep your makeup simple. Do not overdo it.
You can learn basic makeup.
Check yourself applying your makeup thoroughly before stepping out of the house.
Best make-up is your inner glow, your smile and your confidence. Do not forget to wear them.
7. Dressing up
Wear dresses which are in fashion. Combine them with nice accessories like good earrings, belts, bracelets, and pendants.
Wear dresses that make you feel good, comfortable and confident.
Choose the best color that suits you. Knowing what colors look good on you is very important too.

Make sure your dress has no stains. Always wear clean and ironed clothes. Clothes express your character.
8. Keep your dresses ready
Keep your dress ready for the next day so that you don’t have to wear anything in a hurry.
Get the dress and the accessories ready for the next day.
Applying this habit, you will always look good and confident.
Sometimes we get lazy about dressing up properly, not making hair, forgetting about removing our nail polish and if we have to meet someone for the first time, it can bring a bad impression forever.
Do not neglect yourself. To look good every day is in your hands.
9. Be aware of your posture
How you sit and walk enhances your personality.
People with good and confident personalities catch the attention easily.
Do not bend your back while sitting.
Be aware while sitting and walking. Sit straight and stand tall. Good posture improves your personality.
10. Your Attitude matters
Your attitude matters to look good.
No wonder how beautiful you dress up or make your hair but if you lack in positive attitude, you will be disliked by your friends, colleagues or family members.
Your attitude can either drive people away or draw them closer to you.
Your smile is contagious. Always wear it. But do not fake it.
Smile from your heart. Be positive in life and see the differences.
11. Eat Healthy food
Eat healthy food. A healthy diet helps glow your skin, helps your hair look good and shiny and keeps your body healthy.
Avoid eating junk food. They are the sources of calories and diseases.
You automatically look good when you are happy and with vigour.
Practice intermittent fasting, eat in limited quantities, cut sugar in your diet, and add lots of fresh vegetables and fruits.
12. Stretch and exercise
Stretching your body regularly helps to keep you fit and healthy. Take out at least 10/15 minutes every day to move your body.
Moving and stretching help the body to regulate the flow of blood. You will get rid of the heaviness and tension in any parts of your body giving you fresh energy for the day.
When you feel good, you look good.
13. Wear good shoes
Your overall look is incomplete if you do not wear good shoes with your dress.
A good pair of shoes can give a whole different look to your appearance.
Always wear good, comfortable and matching shoes.
14. Drink water
Always keep your water bottle near you so that you do not forget to hydrate yourself. Drinking plenty of water makes your skin healthy and glowing.
15. Take care of Mental Health
Inner beauty reflects on the outside.
Practices like meditation, mindfulness, or simply finding time for yourself can help you maintain balance and positivity.
16. Go to bed early
Do not keep yourself awake for a long time at night. Ensure to get enough sleep each night. Getting proper sleep is good for your overall growth of body and mind.
It affects your complexion and mood. You will wake up with fresh vibrant energy for another beautiful day.
17. Be confident
Wear clothes that you are comfortable in and own it.
Once you decide to wear something, be confident in it.
Confidence is the most important accessory a woman can have.
Comfort enhances your confidence, and confidence enhances your overall look.

I am 53 years old widow, a mother of a young daughter I am happy to share with you that I always receive compliments about how good I look everywhere I go.
When my husband was at his final stage of life and I had to be awake with him till the middle of the night, I will never forget the compliment he had for me.
He said you look beautiful at this hour of the night too.
So looking good is not always about your makeup and dress up it’s about a heart full of love and compassion too.
Looking good every day requires daily practice of personal care routine.
Take rest, drink plenty of water, and relax yourself.
The combination of self-care, style, and confidence are the keys to looking good every day.
