Creating a vision Board that manifests
There are many different ways to aid you in your manifestation journey. But the one most effective + easy way is through a ‘Vision Board’.
Every successful person who has attracted the life of their dreams boasts of having made a vision board for themselves.
So do you too want to start aligning yourself to your goals and get ahead with manifesting?
Say ‘Yes’ to creating a vision board!! In this post I share with you my tips on how to make a vision board easily.
It’s fun and exciting, and it actually can be made easily in just a few hours without searching for hours and hours for the right picture and right quotes in a magazine.
I made mine easily in a few hours.
But before I get started…
What exactly is a vision board?
A vision board is simply a board with a visual representation of all that you want to have, do and be.
It’s a collection and a visual reminder of your major life goals, dreams and purpose in life.
But does a vision board really work?
‘Yes’ and here is how
How vision board helps to manifest
A vision board helps to manifest because visual representations are powerful.
Pictures get stored in our memory and subconscious faster and for a long period of time, so even if you’re not actually thinking about your goals, you can be rest assured that it’s already stored in your subconscious and moving you towards what you are seeking.
No wonder there are so many personal stories about getting what that they wanted and realising they got the exact same thing they had put out on their vision board years ago.
The reason why vision board really works is because it helps in visualising which is the most important step in manifesting what you want.
By looking at your vision board, it helps you get the ‘feeling’ of already having, doing and being what you want- which is another major step in attracting and receiving what you want.
By visualising and believing, you immediately increase your frequency and give away good signals to the Universe required for manifesting!
So now that you are clear on what a vision board is and why it is so powerful, lets get to the main part.
What should be included on a vision board
Here are 3 things to include in your vision board
Pictures of your goals and dreams
Put out pictures of your goals and dreams on your vision board. Want to have your own house? Put up a picture of it.
Want to get that summer body? Put it up. Want to go on a vacation to Paris? Put up that up too.
But make sure that you don’t make your vision board look cluttered too.
Just put up pictures of what you REALLY want to manifest in your life and pictures of your major goals that will help you get motivated
Quotes
Any particular quotes that you really love and want to live by? You can put it up on your vision board.
I particularly love the quote ‘One Buddha is not enough’ by Thich Nhat Hanh and have put it up on my Vision Board.
It serves me as a daily reminder to seek my highest self and is a visual representation of how I should be acting and being.
If you can’t find the right quotes in your desired style, you can always make your style in canva.
Affirmations
You can also put up affirmations in your vision boards.
What do you want to start affirming in life? Affirmations are tiny words but are incredibly powerful in changing your whole belief system and mindset.
You can go from a poor mindset to a rich mindset and actually start attracting more wealth in your life by reciting a few daily affirmations such as,
‘I am wealthy. I feel rich on the inside and out.
I live in abundance. There is no lack.
I deserve to enjoy the abundance of life.
I am full of power to attract money. I am a money magnet. I love money and money is so good to me’.
What ever you want to attract, affirm for it and change your life.

Your own drawings
You need not only be limited to pictures, quotes and affirmations. If there is some major goal or some very specific of yours, but you can’t find it in magazines or anywhere, you can simply draw it out on a paper.
All that matters in a vision board is to put up things that help you get into the feeling of ‘Having, doing and being’.
So now that you know what all things you can put up on a vision board, here is how to easily make one.
How to easily make a vision board that manifests
1. Be clear on what you want to manifest
The first step is to get clear on what you want to manifest. Figure out your life goals if you haven’t already.
If you aren’t clear about what you really want, and put up things on your vision board just to make it look fancy, you won’t attract it.
On the other hand, if you put up too many things in your vision board and make it look cluttered, you will instead bring clutter into your life and you won’t attract.
To make a vision board that manifests, figure out what makes you feel excited, what would you like to look forward to in terms of having, doing and being. And put only that.
Your vision board should help you bring up the excitement and enthusiasm to work on your goals every time you look at it.
2. Find your pictures/quotes to put up
This is the most fun step- looking for your pictures and quotes.
No problem even if you don’t have a magazine. Simply find images online- on google, on Instagram or in free stock photo sites such as pexels or unsplash.
Download it or screenshot it and keep it all ready in your phone or laptop.
3. Go to Canva to create a collage
Now just go to Canva.com or the Canva App and create a collage.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Search for a poster or flyer template and start with a blank one
- Next, upload your pictures that you have saved to be put up on your vision board.
- Go to add elements and add frames.
- Choose your desired shapes in order to add your pictures like this:
- Lastly, Download and print
4. Get your materials ready
Next, get all your materials ready to make your vision board
Here are the only what you’ll need
- A board (obviously!)
- Pictures
- Scissors
- Glue / pins
5. Put your pictures together
Next, put your pictures together on your vision board by using pins or glue depending on your vision board material.
And Voila! Your vision board is ready!!

Where to place your vision board
The last step is to place your vision board somewhere where you will be able to see everyday and serve you as a daily reminder and a daily motivation to work on your goals.
You can hang it in your wall or keep it in you bedside or your office.
I have kept my vision board in front of my desk. Every morning when I sit in my desk I look at it, pause for a while, visualise and be happy about it all coming true in its rightful time.
What you seek is seeking you too!
